Is AI safe for your business data? Honest answers

Your inbox holds customer data, prices, and sometimes sensitive matters. It's only logical to be critical before you put AI on it.

The right questions

Ask every vendor: where is my data stored (preferably in the EU), is it used to train models (it shouldn't be), and who can access it? A serious party answers this without hedging. Vague answers are a red flag.

Control is a design choice

Good AI systems work with approval: the AI proposes, you decide what goes out. You set per category how much you hand over — and can review every decision. That's more control than when three colleagues 'just quickly' email from the shared inbox.

The honest story about risk

A hundred percent guarantee exists nowhere — not even in your current way of working. Email handled by people also has errors, forgotten attachments, and wrong recipients. The question isn't 'is AI perfect?' but 'is the process better and more auditable than now?' Set up well, the answer is yes.
