The order that convinces
Start with the customer's situation ('you want a new bathroom before summer'), then the solution in plain language, then the price breakdown. Start with the price and you get compared on price; start with understanding and you get compared on trust.
Specify without drowning
Split the price into recognizable blocks (materials, labor, optional extra work), but avoid the rain of line items that invites haggling per line. Explicitly state what is and isn't included — that prevents the after-the-fact discussions that eat your margin.
Consistency is the secret weapon
The best template is worthless if you drop it when it's busy. Automation keeps every quote consistent: same structure, current prices, clean PDF — whether it's Monday or peak season. The customer sees a company that has its affairs in order.
